We’ve been in the auto repair, service and restoration business in one way or another since the 1980's. We’ve done it big, we've done it small, we've done it ourselves, we’ve been the customers, and most importantly we've owned two of the biggest and some have said the best classic car shops in America, Trinity Restoration and US Restoration in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Not to mention, Brand New Muscle Car as seen on MotorTrend TV nationwide for years.
We’ve just about seen it all in our time in the auto repair, service and restoration business; good, bad and ugly. We know what it takes to do classic cars and trucks RIGHT. We know what the other guys are doing. We know what customers want. And we know what classic car shops aren’t doing right.
We’ve thought a lot about the way classic auto repair, service and restoration should really be done. And the fact that no one is doing it that way, not even us back in the day. For example, everyone will tell you that you can’t give customers things like WRITTEN ESTIMATES or WRITTEN WARRANTIES on classic auto work. They’ll say it’s never been done and it just can’t be done. That it's impossible to give estimates and warranties on classic auto work. Well, we're here to tell that’s just not true. Frankly, the other shops are being lazy.
In fact, one of our owners, David Miller has written two books revealing the truth about classic auto repair, service, restoration and builds, “BEFORE & AFTER - Auto Restoration Done RIGHT!” and "BRAND NEW MUSCLE CAR - The ORIGINAL Scratch Muscle Car Builder." In them he details how things should be and we built Classic Auto Repair Service and CARS Restoration around those ideas.
