Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work on classic cars in Tulsa?

Yes! We have been working on classic cars in Tulsa since 1987. We know that finding a good, solid, reliable, honest, fair, experienced mechanic or shop to work on your classic car is darn near impossible these days. That's our speciality. We know and love classic cars inside and out. All day, every day we service, repair, restore, customize and build classic cars for customers from Tulsa, Oklahoma, all over the country and around the world.

Do you work on classic trucks?

Yes! We've been working on classic trucks since day one in 1987. Being in Oklahoma and the South our shops have always been just as full of classic trucks as cars. We love classic trucks and work on them every day from service and repair to full frame-off restoration to customs and builds and everything in between. If you're looking for a shop and a team of technicians that know and love classic trucks, look no further. That's us. Yee haw!

Do you work on Ford, GM / Chevrolet and MOPAR vehicles?

Absolutely! We have always worked on all American classic cars and trucks from Ford, GM, Chevrolet, MOPAR and all the others. Whether you own a Mustang or Bronco from the Ford Motor Company, a Camaro, Corvette or Chevelle from Chevrolet, a Challenger, Charger, or Cuda from MOPAR, or any other amazing classic car or truck from Lincoln, Pontiac, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Buick, Plymouth, Chrysler and the rest, we know and love them all!

Do you perform mechanical restoration?

Yes! That's what we do. We are an honest to goodness full-service mechanic shop that specializes in classic cars and trucks. We know carburetors. We know points. We know how cars actually work. Not just cars with computers. Cars without computers, before computers. AND, we also work on cars with computers too, especially cars with fuel injection or EFI, which we service and install. We do both. We can service your classic car. We can RestoMod your classic car. And we can also do performance work on your late model hot rod as well. We love classic cars.

Do you work on cars that have been sitting for years?

Yes! We call these projects "make runs." Customers bring us classic cars and trucks that have been sitting for years and ask us to make them run. They have no idea what's wrong with it. But we're happy to figure it out, diagnose the issues, discuss with you, and then make your classic start, run and drive again.

Do you work on carbureted engines?

Yes! We specialize in classic cars and trucks. And we actually know how cars work. So, yes, we service, repair, restore and build carburetors every day. We do a TON of tuning of all things on classic cars from carburetors to fuel injection to brakes to steering to clutches to air conditioning and more. There are many things that need to be tuned on a car to make it start, run and drive properly. We tune cars all the time. In fact, we finish and tune other shop's work all the time.

Do you install fuel injection / EFI on classic cars?

Yes! We are very experienced at improving, updating, and upgrading classic cars and trucks in all way, especially electronic fuel injection or EFI. EFI is one of our most popular requested installations on any classic. We do it all the time. We are a RestoMod shop. Experience is the key to choosing a shop. It takes experience to install EFI properly, in a reasonable amount of time, at a fair price, tune it correctly, and make it work reliably for the long term. We've done more EFI installs than anyone in this part of the world.

Do you perform LS, LT, Coyote and HEMI swaps?

Yes! Now we're talking RestoMod. Let us help you make your classic car or truck ROAR with a late model drivetrain from Ford, GM or MOPAR. We love to install LS, LT, Coyote, HEMI, and other engines and transmissions in classic vehicles. And most importantly, we've done it a BUNCH. There are tricks to installing a modern engine and transmission in classic cars and trucks and we know them.
